Alexandra Morgan is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who represents clients in complex civil litigation, government investigations, and criminal matters. She is a former federal prosecutor with experience handling high stakes matters at every critical stage.

Before joining the firm, Alexandra served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago. In that role, she investigated and prosecuted a broad range of federal crimes, including financial fraud, money laundering, and public corruption. As a member of the Office’s Appeals Section, she frequently advised fellow prosecutors and trial teams on complex constitutional and evidentiary issues.

Alexandra has authored or co-authored dozens of federal appellate briefs, and she has argued nine appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Alexandra has tried multiple jury trials to guilty verdicts, directing key witnesses and delivering jury addresses. She has also handled scores of evidentiary hearings and arguments on contested motions in federal district court.

Prior to her government service, Alexandra was a litigator in the Chicago office of a large international law firm, representing entities in complex disputes and advising companies confronting government investigations. She also served as a law clerk to Judge Michael Y. Scudder on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
